I'm pleased to announce that we have another new member, Steve Gould, who takes the number of members up to 32. Welcome Steve! This is the first year with a full compliment of 32 members for quite a few years!

February 2011 - 2011 Venues Now Published

Hi One and All,

It's time to get those clubs out, give them a good clean, and to hit a few balls on the range. The venues for the year have now been published (see the Venues tab) and the weather is gradually getting warmer.

News from the AGM is that our handicaps will be cut in the same way as last year - you will be cut just one shot for winning a competition plus a cut for standard of play if you score better than your handicap (half the difference between your score and your handicap). It was agreed that there would continue to be no cuts for winning the stableford and stroke play averages (Oops - I got this wrong at the last meeting! There were no cuts for last years stableford and stroke play averages after all!) Also welcome to our new members: Geoff Bean, Lyn Riley and Tony Rossiter.
