Xmas Fun Day - Upchurch River Valley

We had a another really great day at Upchurch again today, with a super breakfast, a great course, and a superb Xmas meal.  Well done to Frank for winning the day with 43 points.

The Society AGM will be held on Wednesday 13 January 2016, 8.00 pm at Sidcup Recreation Club. Please come along and help decide the courses to be played next year, and be part of the discussions on the running of the Society. Please contact Dave Reid if you have particular subjects that you would like discussed.

November 2015 - Westerham Golf Club

Another rainy day produced some higher than normal scores today. The course was not in the best condition which made things even harder.  The walk from the buggy to the ball wore a few of you out too.

Well done to Mick Pressland who won the A-Division by putting in a very good round of 74, and to Dave Reid who won the B-Division on a countback from Tom Hastie with a round of 80.

Neil Baker's suggestion that we mark the 30 years anniversary of Cressy Golf Society with a trip to Crayford Dogs is set to go ahead next year. Please put Saturday 30th January 2016 in your diary and let the society how many of you will be going at the next meeting so we know numbers.

Next meeting is our annual Xmas Fun Day at Upchurch River Valley.
Please remember it is Wednesday 9th December. First Tee off is 10am so be there early for the full English breakfast.  
We have agreed to play the yellow ball competition again this year. Details will be explained on the day.
Remember it is a SEVEN club competition including putter. 
Also don't forget to bring something to enter into the raffle. All proceeds go back into the club funds.

October 2015 - Redlibbets Golf Club

It was a much greyer day today than is usual for Cressy Golf Society days, although thankfully the rain held off. Most people seemed to enjoy the course even though there were a few people who were not quite so impressed. I personally think that Redlibbets is one of the better courses that we play!

Glen McCauley won the A-Division with 37 points, and Les Hetherington won the B-Division with 34 points. Well done guys!

Neil Baker suggested that we mark the 30 years anniversary of Cressy Golf Society with a trip to Crayford Dogs in February next year. All the members present at today's meeting agreed that this was a good idea and showed their support for the event. Please put this in your diary for February and the actual date will be communicated in the next few weeks.
