Sad News

It is with a sad heart that I have to report that our 

friend and fellow Cressy Golf Society member 

Jim Pullum 

sadly passed away on Monday 30 June.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday 21 July - 2:45 pm
at Eltham Crematorium (North Chapel), Falconwood, SE9 2AZ

Family flowers only - Donations to the Royal Marsden Hospital 
or St Christopher's Hospice.

Please let Bob Evans (020 8460 3251) know if you 
will be attending the funeral.

Captains Day - 23 June 2015

We had another lovely day at Chelsfield Lakes for this year's Captains Day. The weather and conditions were good, and apart from the bunkers the course was good too.

Our thanks go to this year's Captain - Steve Gould - for sponsoring the day and putting up the prizes.

There were some good scores to be had on the course and it comes as no surprise that 68% of the field (17 out of 25 members) played to their handicap or better.

I am pleased to report that Rob Moloney won with a total of 42 points, closely followed by Tom Hastie with 41 points and Dave Reid & Phil Swaine both with 40 points. It's a good job that there are no handicap cuts for Captains Day!

June 2015 - Weald of Kent

Cressy Golf Society held another great golf day at Weald of Kent on Tuesday.

Well done to Joolz Hembrough for winning the A-division competition with a score of 35 points. Also well done to Les Hetherington for winning the B-division with a brilliant score of 38 points.

Dave drew the third round of the knock-out competition and the draw can be found on the 'Knock-Out Comp' tab.
