The next society day is on Wednesday 10th December at Upchurch River Valley - 10 am start

Well Done - Well Done

I am not sure if you have already heard, but Mick Pressland and Les Hetherington won the champion of champions day at Birchwood with a total of 54 points. Well Done Guys!

Tuesday 14 October 2014 - The Ridge

We had another good day at The Ridge on Tuesday although, in my opinion, the greens and tees were a bit rubbish. We even saw grass growing out of some of the bunkers and they could all of done with some sand in them!  It was also a bit drizzly and damp!

That said there were some good scores out there. Well done to Mick Pressland who won the A Division a with a score of 36 points, and to Linda Berriman who won the B Division with a score of 34 points. Also well done to Les Hetherington who won the 28 Handicappers annual competition.

Well done to you all!

The next monthly meeting is on

Tuesday 11 November at Cobtree Manor Park

See you there and don't forget that tee off time is 10.00 am!

Tuesday 9 September 2014 - Parkwood Golf Club

We had another brilliant day at Parkwood Golf Club on Tuesday.  It was sunny and bright and the course was in good condition, despite the hollow tining. It was also great to see our friends Jim and Rich on Tuesday - great to see you guys!

Well done to Dave Payne who won the B Division a with a score of 75, and to Joolz Hembrough who won the A Division with a brilliant score of 68.

The putting competition was won my our illustrious Secretary - Bert Styles - with an impressive 29 putts.

The final of the knock out competition was also played on Tuesday and Nick Isom beat Tommy Hastie in a hard fought final.

Well done to you all!

The next monthly meeting is on Tuesday 14 October at The Ridge. See you there!
