Dave, our austere Society Secretary, has asked me inform all Society members via this website blog that unfortunately there has been a slight price increase for the Society day at Bearsted in July. The cost will be now be £37.50 rather than the £35.00 previously advised.
Therefore, please all be aware and bring extra groats, shekles or dubloons with you in July!

May 2017 - Poult Wood
Another great day at Poult Wood on Tuesday! The weather was decent and dry, the food was good and tasty, and the golf wasn't bad either!
The winner of the A-Team competition was Tommie Hastie with a great score of 67, and the winner of the B-Team competition was Les Hetherington with a superb score of 62 (Les won on countback after tying with Mike Kidd on 62). Well done guys!
Dave drew the second round of the knockout which can be found on the 'Knock-Out Comp' tab above.

April 2107 - Cobtree Manor Golf Club
We had another good meeting at Cobtree Manor Golf Course on Tuesday although, as you may know, there was an issue with the buggies. I am now pleased to report that this issue has now been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties and is now 'water under the bridge'.
The weather was good to us yet again, as the day was mainly sunny!
Tony (the new Handicap Secretary) has been busy as 9 members played better than their handicap and therefore have had their handicap cut for the next game! The winner of the A-Team competition was Robbie Burns with a great score of 40 points, and the winner of the B-Team competition was Derek Howe with a superb score of 46 points. Well done guys!

March 2017 - Rochester & Cobham Golf Club
We had a great first meeting of the year at Rochester & Cobham Golf Course on Tuesday. Our thanks must go to Linda for arranging the society day at her course!
The weather was fairly kind to us, and although not sunny, it was nota at all bad for a March meeting!
The winner of the A-Team competition was Linda Berriman with a score of 69, and the winner of the B-Team competition was Rob Moloney again with a score of 69. The Champion of Champions competition was won by Frank O'Donnell.
Well done to all the winners!
