July 2012 - Upchurch River Valley

We were very lucky with the weather today - with just a few odd showers and a few odd glimpses of the sun. Upchurch River Valley lived up to their normal high standards. The course was in very good condition and their hospitality was also very good. A big boys breakfast and a roast dinner in the same day - Not bad!

The A-Division today was won by Lubo Matis with 71 shots and the B-Division by Rob Moloney with 67 shots. That means I will have to cut my own handicap by 3.5 - damn.

The next round of the knock out was drawn with the following players meeting in the semifinals:-

Cliff Riley v Tommy Hastie Snr
Bert Styles v Nick Carter

These games must be played on or before the next monthly meeting at Cobtree Manor Park on 14 August.
