May 2015 - Bearsted Golf Club

Another great day with great weather for Cressy Golf Society at Bearsted today. It was a little windy at times but the course was in very good condition. Everyone seemed to like the food and the club house was good too. Bearsted would certainly get my vote for next year - I hope you enjoyed the course too! Thanks also to Dave Payne for arranging the society day at his home course.

Well done to John Goode for winning the A-division competition with a score of 74. The B-division was won by Phil Swaine with an equally good score of 76.

Dave drew the second round of the knock-out competition and the draw can be found on the 'Knock-Out Comp' tab.

Lastly, another plea and gentle reminder to tell Dave (the new Secretary) in advance if you are not going to be at the next meeting as we may be charged for no-shows. The society also looks pretty stupid reserving loads of tee times for people who don't show up and haven't let anyone know!

April 2015 - Darenth Valley

What brilliant weather we had yesterday at Darenth Valley. The food was good too. The only thing that let the course down was the hairy greens! But then again we all had to play with the same conditions!

Well done to Tony Middleditch for winning the A Division with 38 points, and well done to Dave Reid for winning the B Division with 40 points - excellent scores guys!

Dave and Bert drew the knockout and you will find the draw on the knockout tab of this site! All games to be played before or on the next meeting at Bearsted on 12 May!

Finally a reminder to tell Dave (the Secretary) in advance if you are not going to be at the next meeting as we may be charged for no-shows.

Finally, Finally, please be aware that 'Slow Play' makes everyone behind you annoyed! Please make every effort to keep up with the group in front!
