March 2018 - Rochester & Cobham Golf Course

The season finally got under way on Tuesday at Rochester & Cobham Golf Course following the false start last week when the course was closed due to the bad conditions. The weather on Tuesday was kind to us however and the food was good too. Our thanks go to Linda Berriman for organising the day as her guests.

Well done to Tom Hastie for winning the A-division with a score of 76, and to Rob Moloney for winning the B-division with a score of 72. Rob also won the Champion of Champions competition, with 35 points, for all those members who won a society day or club competition in 2017. Well done guys!

One last note is to remind you all that the April meeting is to be held on Tuesday 10th April at The Ridge Golf Club. This Society day will tee off at 12:00 hrs. Don't be late!

The Bad News and the Good News.

The Bad News

The bad news is that unfortunately, due to snow ice and flooding on the course, the Society day at Rochester and Cobham Golf Course scheduled for tomorrow - Tuesday 6th March - has had to be postponed.

The Good News

However, the good news is that Dave has managed to rearrange the day at Rochester and Cobham Golf Course for next Tuesday - Tuesday 13th March - at the same time. So it will be Bacon Rolls at 10:30 hrs and First Tee at 11:30 hrs.
