Xmas Funday - Upchurch River Valley

A bumper field took part in Cressy's Christmas Funday today. It was great to see so many members, past member, guests and friends. The weather was bright and sunny but somewhat cold! The frost and ice caused putting to be very eratic, but we had a great day nevertheless!

Upchurch River Valley Golf Course treated us very well, the breakfast was excellent as was the Xmas dinner.

Congratulations to Derek Howe who won the day overall, the 'Snowflake Cup', with a brilliant score of 44. Derek also won the 'Par 3' competition to win the 'Archie Samson Trophy'. The infamous Yellow Ball competition was won by Lyn Riley, Cliff Riley, Linda Berriman and Bert Styles. Well done guys!

Thanks to all those that donated raffle prizes, and well done to all the winners. Bert announced that the AGM would be held at Sidcup Rec Club on Wednesday 16th January - 7.30 for 8.00 pm. Be there or be square!
