Yes we had another brilliant day at Upchurch River Valley. We had a good turn out and some really good scores.
Well done to Nick Carter and Linda Berriman who scored 40 points each in the Snowflake Cup. Nick won on count back scoring 22 on the back nine compared to Linda's 19 on the back nine. Therefore Nick wins on count back. Congratulations to Nick and unlucky Linda.
The Archie Sampson 'Par 3' Competition was equally close. This competition is for the best stableford score on the 5 'par 3' holes. Three players scored 12 points - Nick Carter, Mick Pittaway, and Tommy Hastie Snr. Mick won on count back with 7 points on the 3 back 9 holes compared with 6 points for Nick and Tommy. Well done Mick!
