Another great day at Upchurch - We started with a fantastic full English breakfast, followed by a great day golfing with great December weather, and finished off with a brilliant Christmas dinner.
There were some good golf scores out there too! Well done to Derek Howe for winning the overall competition with a commendable score of 40 points - Dave Reid and Dave Payne were second and third respectively. Well done!
The "Archie Samson Memorial Trophy" for the best scores on the the 'Par 3' holes was won by Dave Reid with 14 points. Again well done!
The Secretary announced that there was to be an extra event to be held at Birchwood Park Golf Course on Tuesday 10 January at 10:00 am. After some debate it was agreed that the yearly AGM would be held following the round at Birchwood on 10 January. Be there or be square!
Thanks to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle, which raised £170.
